I just read my friend Aurelio’s lines and I wanted to share them with you…being Italian, I cannot write a comment on it, because the reality that he is describing is a really sad one…so, I cannot find the right words…I can only write: GRAZIE AURELIO.
Italy is 57th in the world ranking of Free Press. Botswana and Niger are ahead of us. We have no free newspapers, all of them are owned by industrial groups, if not, don’t laugh, directly by political parties. Banks are under control of political parties as well. So, it doesn’t sound strange that the movie “girlfriend in a coma”, which speaks about the decline of the National under the three most popular parties of left, center and right, has been banned today and will not be screened as scheduled. But the worst thing is that no one is in the streets protesting against it.
