Matteo has a new heart. A woman’s heart. And with another woman who is also recovering from open heart surgery, he sets about trying to recover his old life by scaling one of the most foreboding peaks in the Dolomites. An amazing short story in the form of a movie script, in which every heartbeat resonates in a way you’ve never heard before.
A Morning Stroll…
I love to share this short animated film with you…I went with Silvia to see the Oscars nominated shorts last February, and I thought that ”A Morning Stroll” was brilliant…I hope you will enjoy it too…
Have a wonderful week-end!
Carlo Rambaldi, goodbye…
“Carlo Rambaldi, father of ‘E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial’, has died today in Lamezia Terme, Italy, where he lived with his family.
Rambaldi won the Oscar for best special effects on three occasions: the first with King Kong by John Guillermin, 1976. In 1979, together with Hans Ruedi Giger, helping to give life to another famous creature: “Alien“, by Ridley Scott.
But his masterpiece came in 1982 when he moved the entire world with the protagonist of ET The Extra-Terrestrial, directed by Steven Spielberg.”
Goodbye, and thank you…
just a personal note…
Just a personal, short note. I’m taking a pause from the painful process of packing, sitting in the company of Celestino and Violetta, my lovely birds…tomorrow I will fly to Italy, to be with part of the team of “Il turno di notte lo fanno le stelle”. Silvia will join us in few days, flying from LA to Italy with our amazing leading actress, Nastassja. Finally, after a very complicated year, we are starting to see our dream unveiled, a dream we never gave up on. With Erri De Luca words, with Edoardo Ponti’s vision, with an exceptional cast and crew, we are making the idea we always visioned, REAL, at least for the time of a movie…more to come…more to share…buonanotte or…buongiorno!
